Equipment Operator/Mechanic
The Town of Harvard is accepting applications for the position of Equipment Operator/Mechanic. This is a full time position (40 hrs/week). The successful applicant will be required to possess a Commercial Drivers License and a Hydraulic
Engineers License (or obtain one within six months of employment).
Applicants must be able to perform strenuous physical activity and endure extreme weather conditions on occasions. This position requires the successful individual to be available for emergencies year round, particularly in the winter season for winter operations.
All applicants must possess the following skills: a minimum of 5 years full-time experience in a working shop repairing and maintaining of gas and diesel engines, power train components, hydraulic systems and electrical system components. Experience in welding, metal fabrication and painting is also highly desired.
