Dog Licenses
10142009_71222_0.jpgAll dogs in the Town of Harvard must be licensed annually, by April 1st. Puppies must be licensed by six months of age. New, older dogs and those belonging to new residents must be licensed within 30 days.

Dog licenses are available at the Town Clerk's Office beginning on January 3rd.

In order to license your dog(s), we will need:
1.A valid rabies certificate
2.The Mail In Renewal form, or the renewal form mailed out with the Annual Census
3.The appropriate fee.
4.A certificate of spaying/neutering, if applicable.

Please send the application form, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope and the appropriate fee made payable to the Town of Harvard to the Office of the Town Clerk. We will mail the tag back to you as soon as possible. If it is more convenient for you, please feel free to stop by the Town Clerk's office during regular business hours.

As a reminder, all dogs must be registered by April 1st, according to Harvard’s Dog By-Law. Dogs registered after that date will be assessed a late fee of $15 per month in addition to the licensing fee.  Failure to license your dog will result in a criminal complaint being issued, along with the additional fines.
