OPEN BURNING
You must obtain a burning permit from the Harvard Communications Center at the police station prior to burning. A burn permit must be completed and then a burn permit number will be issued.
A new permit is required each year.
Open burning is allowed between January 15th and May 1st each year. Approval to burn on a given day can be granted (once you have obtained a permit) by calling the
Harvard Communications Center at 978-456-8276 after 9:00 A.M.
ALL FIRES MUST BE OUT BY 4:00 P.M.
