 This shoulder patch is the Town of Harvard official town seal, which pictures the Bromfield School built in 1878 as a secondary education system. The Bromfield trustees maintained the school until 1940 when the responsibility for providing secondary education was transferred to the town. The building
is still in use by the Harvard School system.
