Annual Town Meeting
The Annual Town Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the gymnasium of Bromfield School, located at 14 Massachusetts Avenue. The meeting will begin at 9, break for lunch and continue in the afternoon.

Harvard holds what is known as an Open Town Meeting, which means that all registered voters of Harvard attending the meeting may vote on matters. The deadline to register to vote for the Annual Town Meeting is March 10. For a Citizen's Guide to Town Meeting, please click here.
Annual Town Election
The Annual Town Election will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in the cafeteria of Bromfield School, located at 14 Massachusetts Avenue. To view a sample ballot, please click here. The polls will be open from 7am to 8pm. A candidate's forum will be held by the Harvard League of Women Voters on Monday, March 20, from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at the Harvard Public Library in Volunteers Hall
All residents of Harvard registered to vote by March 10 are eligible to vote in the Town Election.
Absentee Ballots will be available. Requests must be made in writing by the voter or family member and must be received by the Town Clerk's Office by noon the day before the election. Voters may opt to receive their ballot by mail or absentee vote in person at the Town Clerk’s Office.
Absentee Ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk's Office by 8pm on Election Day to be counted.
In order to be eligible to vote by absentee ballot in Massachusetts, a voter must be prevented from voting at their polling place on Election Day, due to:
Absence from the voter's city or town on Election Day; or
Physical disability; or
Early voting is available for biennial state elections. The next election for which early voting will be available is the November 6, 2018 State Election.
