The primary mission of the Sewer Commissioners is to provide a safe and reliable system for the disposal of sewage and wastewater within established sewer districts. To carry out this mission it is the role of the commission to create and enforce policies and regulations that promote both the reliable operation of the sewer system and its financial well-being.
It is also the role of the commission to audit future needs of both existing sewer districts and potential new sewer districts and working with the cooperation of the Board of Selectmen and other town entities develop proposals for the modification and/or expansion of existing sewer districts and the creation of new sewer districts.
The Harvard Sewer Commissioners look forward to providing town center residents with a smooth transition to this new service with dependable low cost sewer service thereafter. We will make every effort to provide you with any necessary information as soon as possible and to have an active and open channel of communication for all matters that concern you. We are here to serve you and realize you will have many questions as the system undergoes construction and your time comes to connect. We will be there to guide you through the process.
