Absentee Ballots now available for Sept. 4th State Primary


Absentee Ballots for the September 4, 2018 State Primary are now available in the Town Clerk’s office. You may vote in the Town Clerk’s office or have the ballot mailed to you. Any voter who will be out of town during polling hours on the day of the election or who will be unable to vote in person due to physical disability or religious belief, may request an absentee ballot by filling out an Absentee Ballot Application.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is Friday, August 31, 2018 at 5:00 PM. The Town Clerk's office will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If the ballot needs to be mailed, please apply early enough for mail delivery. The ballot must be received by the Town Clerk before the close of the polls on September 4, 2018. Ballots may not be hand carried out of the office.

The last day to register to vote or change political party for the September 4th State Primary is Wednesday, August 15, 2018. The Town Clerk’s office will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
