Skiing and Snowboarding
Harvard is lucky to be between two local Ski mountains. The closest is Nashoba Valley at only 11 miles from the town center. Mount Wachusett is only 22 miles away and is where the town's ski programs are held. Enjoy the Slopes!
Harvard Park & Rec Ski Club 2023 Sign Up
The HES 5th grade and Bromfield Ski Club programs are open for registration. The ski and snowboard program runs for 6 weeks on Wednesdays after school starting Wed, Jan 4th. Back this year are buses for the HES 5th grade and the Bromfield students – arranged through Harvard Parks & Rec.
It is a 2-step process to sign up for ski club.
Step 1: Purchase a Ski/Snowboard Pass through Wachusett:
- Six-week student passes are on sale now and are $173 until Dec 1st. After Dec 1st, the price increases by $30.
- Bronze season passes can also be purchased at a group rate through the HES and Bromfield School Groups (this will be on a limited basis) $349
- Ski and snowboard lessons (for the 6 weeks) and equipment rentals are available through the sign-up
- Pass insurance - Get your card replaced if unable to participate due to unexpected circumstance or if you lose your badge. Insurance is $25. If you don’t have insurance, it will cost $15 to replace a lost badge.

Step 2: Purchase a 6-week seat on the Bromfield or HES ski bus through Harvard Parks & Rec:
- The cost for the bus which leaves Bromfield and HES (5th grade only) after school on Wednesdays and returns to the schools is $150.00 through Dec 1st. After December 1st, the bus will be $170.
