Get help for mental health and substance use crises, whoever and wherever you are.  Call the Behavioral Health Help Line or walk into a local Community Behavioral Health Center to access immediate crisis support, no insurance needed.  A team of mental health professionals will work with you to determine the best path forward, at a community-based location of your choosing.

The Massachusetts Behavioral Health Help Line has trained specialists available to connect individuals or families to the full range of comprehensive treatment services available to those suffering with mental health and/or substance abuse concerns. The individual(s) requesting services are given a “warm handoff”  (meaning while the requester is “on the phone”) to a provider who is available to work with the individual and provide the behavioral health support identified.  There is no charge and the service is available to anyone living in Massachusetts.  You can reach the help line (24/7) at: masshelpline.com or call/text: 833-773-2445.

Massachusetts recently established 25 Community Behavioral Health Centers across the state.  Anyone can access mental health and substance use crisis services at CBHCs, no insurance needed.  Find the location most convenient to you or a loved to one visit: mass.gov/CBHCs
