Dog Licenses

Dog licenses are due April 13, 5 days after the town's annual rabies clinic.  Click here for a list of the rabies clinics that will be held in this area in March and April. The charge per immunization is $15.00. Residents may attend any of the listed clinics.

Until April 13, you may license your dog(s) online. You may enter information about your dog(s), make payment and upload a copy of the rabies and/or spay/neuter certificate(s).

After April 13, you may license  your dog(s) in person or by mail, we will need:

  1. The Mail-In form
  2. A valid rabies certificate
  3. A certificate of spaying/neutering, if applicable
  4. The appropriate annual fee and late fee, if applicable.  Please contact the Town Clerk to review the amount due.

Please send the application form, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope and the appropriate fee made payable to the Town of Harvard to the Office of the Town Clerk. We will mail the tag back to you as soon as possible. 

All dogs in the Town of Harvard must be licensed annually, by April 1st (or 5 days after the annual rabies clinic, whichever is later). Puppies must be licensed by six months of age. New, older dogs and those belonging to new residents must be licensed within 30 days.  The additional fee for licensing your dog after the deadline is $50 per household.

Dog licenses are available at the Town Clerk's Office beginning on January 2nd.

  • Un-spayed Females: $25.00
  • Neutered Males: $15.00
  • Un-neutered Males: $25.00
  • 3 or 4 dogs: $45.00
  • 5 to 10 dogs: $65.00
  • over 10 dogs: $100.00
  • owner 70+ years old: no charge
  • late fee:  $50 per household
