Transportation

Van Transportation

The MART and COA vans are available to provide transportation for all of Harvard's adult seniors and those with disabilities. Medical appointments always receive priority, but transportation may be available for other errands as well, such as grocery shopping, barber/hairdresser appointments, and other needs. Fees vary depending on the driving distance. Disability can mean permanent or temporary (as in knee surgery or a broken leg...).

To make transportation arrangements please call the Council on Aging at 978-456-4120.

Harvard Help

Harvard Help is a volunteer organization that supports Harvard senior and adult residents when the COA and MART van is unavailable. Please call the COA at 978-456-4120 for assistance in scheduling transportation.

If you are having a procedure that requires sedation or dilation of eyes, etc.  please make sure you have a friend or family member escort you home.  Neither the van nor Harvard Help drivers are allowed to leave their vehicles to pick you up at the doctor’s office. Please be ready and waiting for the van.
