Council on Aging Employment Opportunities - Van Drivers & Outreach Coordinator


Are you recently retired or presently looking for job flexibility? Work with the Council on Aging and help our community at the same time. Van Drivers are needed immediately to provide van transportation for persons 60 years or older and/or with a disability. This is a part-time on-call position through the Council on Aging for up to 2-3 days per week. Drivers are trained through MART (Montachusett Regional Transit Authority). Candidates must pass a CORI and receive ongoing training and submit to random drug testing.

COA Outreach Coordinator
The Harvard Council on Aging is looking for a part-time (19 hours) outreach coordinator to work with the elder population in Harvard. This position will perform varied and responsibilities including conducting in-home visits, making appropriate referrals, and follow-up as needed. A bachelor’s degree, knowledge of state and local elder resources and Microsoft Office, and access to a dependable vehicle is required. This is a non-benefitted position that reports directly to the COA director. Hours are to be spread between 4 days per week.  Pay starts at $24.09.
